Bought this for a family member for Christmas a few years ago as he enjoys to keep track of counts while watching/attending games and it still works perfectly to this day!

Great to keep handy when going to the ballpark
Our little league is volunteer and the parents help with the umpiring duties during the season. Many times when going to watch a game the umpire indicator has been missing or when I go to umpire the plate umpire will forget to use it. It has been great to have this on hand as a back up on many occasions.
It can be used in either left or right hand, but fits perfectly in my right hand. It appears to be very sturdy and even though it has been dropped on the field many times and been covered in dirt I have had no problems with it.
Just remember, even though the indicator shows Strikes and Balls, you're calling Balls and Strikes. I've heard many rookie umpires make that mistake.
